Dear friends,
Brenda Jensen, who has served faithfully as the Director of the Trinity Preschool will be stepping down from her position at the end of the 2021-2022 school year.
“For 24 years, Brenda has been an important part of the lives, the development and the faith of literally thousands of children in our community” said Senior Pastor Todd Buegler. “She has worked tirelessly on behalf of all of these kids and we are grateful for all she has given.”
Brenda was a part of the initial transition of the Preschool from a stand-alone preschool, to a fully integrated part of the ministry of the church. She has led the preschool’s development and growth over the years. Most recently, she has overseen the re-branding and physical improvement projects that will set the preschool up for success in the years to come.
Brenda said: “I have been blessed to live out my life’s dream of working with preschoolers here at Trinity; to be a part of the beginning of so many educational journeys. What I didn’t imagine was the impact being a part of their lives would have on my life. My life has been filled with their endless honesty and smiles; their thoughtful gifts of grace and artwork; and their shy or enthusiastic greetings at random grocery stores and restaurants. My heart will always be filled with gratitude and love.”
Trinity is excited to build on the strong foundation that has been laid for the preschool. Brenda will continue in her role through the current school year. Our hope is to have a new director in place at the end of winter, so there can be some overlap with Brenda to ensure a smooth transition.
There will be an opportunity for the congregation to thank Brenda and to celebrate her faithful ministry in May.
