Things that I have heard, or learned over time.  There will be more.

  1. There is only one God.  I’m not it.  (You’re not either)

  2. Between every time that you leave work, and return to work, you need to have at least one VFT  (Very fun thing)

  3. It’s always better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission

  4. Think forward

  5. Don’t neglect the details

  6. Sin boldly   (“If the mercy is true, you must therefore bear the true, not an imaginary sin. God does not save those who are only imaginary sinners.   7. Just because you or I really want something to be true, doesn’t mean that it is

  8. Things almost always look better in the morning

  9. Keep a tough skin and a soft heart
  10. Joy is a sign of confidence in one’s identity as a child of God; and laughter is a manifestation of joy.  Show me a place full of laughter and I’ll show you a place of joy, love and a strong sense of identity

  11. Never go to bed angry

  12. When you draw a line in the sand, Jesus is almost always standing on the other side of it
