Dear Friends,
This Sunday, we will mark an important moment in the life of our congregation as Pastor Susan Li concludes her interim ministry with us at Trinity.
For the past seven months, Pastor Susan has served faithfully among us during a season that required both flexibility and care. When Pastor Amanda stepped back to focus on healing, Pastor Susan stepped in with quiet strength and deep compassion. She helped lead worship, but perhaps even more importantly, she provided steady pastoral care for many members of our congregation during times of need.
Pastor Susan has been a gentle and thoughtful presence in our community. Many of you have experienced her kindness in hospital rooms, living rooms, and conversations that carried both joy and sorrow. She brought wisdom, patience, and a calm spirit that helped our congregation remain grounded during a season of transition. Ministry like that often happens quietly, but its impact is deeply felt.
One of the gifts of the church is that, in times of need, God provides the right people at the right moment. Pastor Susan has certainly been that kind of gift for Trinity. Her willingness to step in, care deeply, and walk alongside our congregation has made a real difference.
This weekend in worship, we will take time to thank her and celebrate the ministry she has shared with us. I hope you will join us as we express our gratitude and send her on with our prayers and blessings.
Pastor Susan, thank you for your faithful service, your compassionate heart, and the steady care you have offered to the people of Trinity. We are grateful for you, and we pray God’s continued blessings on your ministry in the days ahead.
In Christ,
Pastor Todd
