When the plane takes off from the Montego Bay airport, you look out the window up into the hills, towards where Westhaven is and you ask yourself “I wonder what the kids are up to right now?” Of course, the “kids” are the children and young adults of Westhaven.
When you spend time there, your heart cannot help be be a little bit affected by them.
And now, we’re safely home! Thanks be to God for good journeys.
And I will continue to wonder “I wonder what the kids are up to?” And I will trust in God that he is with them, caring for and protecting them.
Mission Jamaica happens because Trinity cares. And it happens because Trinity participates. Certainly the 11 folks who were a part of the team; but beyond that, all of those who gave donations of materials, prayed and give to support our outreach ministries.
