Hello friends,
Beginning tomorrow, January 12, 2022, Trinity is instituting a mask mandate for people within our building. This mandate will last for two weeks.
Unfortunately, we have all watched the number of COVID cases in our community spike in recent days. (Influenza cases are on the uptick as well.) We have all heard of friends and neighbors who have or who are recovering from COVID. And we have heard about the critical shortage of hospital beds and medical professionals to care for the sick. Today, the Owatonna Hospital announced that patients could no longer have visitors until the current spike settles down.

Also today, our school district put a mask mandate into effect for all of its buildings for the next two weeks as well.
None of us are excited about a mask mandate. However, given what we see around us, we believe that it is what is necessary, and what shows the greatest love to God and to our neighbor. And it makes sense that if the schools are requiring masks to protect our kids, we do everything we possibly can to support them in this work.
Masks will be required at all events in the church building beginning January 12, and ending January 25. This includes worship and all events and activities taking place within the building.
We are hopeful that doing this as the omicron variant peaks and begins to decline, we can keep as many people, especially our children, the elderly and the vulnerable, safe and healthy.
Thank you for your care, your compassion and your patience.
God’s blessings,
Pastor Todd

Hi Lynn. This is Pastor Todd. Did you mean to send this back to me?
