After 16 years of faithful service, Sheri Berg has announced her intent to retire this August. For all of these years, Sheri has provided a steady presence, a kind, welcoming heart and a dedication to the faith of Trinity’s children and their families.
Sheri has helped our ministry to grow and evolve over time. As the world has changed, Sheri has been a critical part of ensuring that ministry with our children ages 3 through 5th grade has reflected God’s constant love.
Sheri writes that: “It has been a fantastic journey leading Trinity’s Children’s ministry. It has been a blessing to love and grow right along with Trinity kids and families. After summer programming I will be stepping into retirement. Do not get me wrong, I’m not leaving Trinity. I love this place and all the people in it. I am looking forward to traveling and more family time!”
We are all very grateful for Sheri’s amazing, grace-filled work. And we are thankful for the time and energy she has given for the sake of our kids faith.
Sheri’s last day on the Trinity staff will be August 11th. Deacon Kris will begin the search process for a new Director of Children’s Ministry in the next couple of weeks. We are planning now for a way to celebrate Sheri’s ministry at Trinity and to thank her for all that she has done. Watch for more details to come.
God’s peace,
Pastor Todd
