So it is with you. Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church.
1 Corinthians 14:21
Everything has a purpose…a reason…a “why.” The gifts of God, the fruits of the Spirit, are given for a purpose.
And as the recipients of these gifts, that means that we have a task laid ahead of us: To discover our “why,” and to use are gifts to fulfill it.
If we ignore either our “why,” or our gifts, then we wander from the hopes and dreams that God has for our lives. But when our gifts and our “why” overlap, we find ourselves aligned with God’s will.
First we discover our “why.” Then we inventory our gifts. Then we pray for God’s Spirit to go to work within us.
