Dear friends,
I pray for your joy and excitement as we enter the season of Advent together. We look forward to the gift of Jesus, and the love and hope that he brings.
I am writing to invite you to a special congregational meeting to be held at 12pm on Sunday, December 11. Our call committee has been working hard for the last 7 months. They have identified a wonderful candidate for the position. At our meeting, we will vote on a recommendation from Trinity’s congregational council to call this person to serve as an associate pastor at Trinity. You will learn information about this candidate at the meeting.
This new pastor will work primarily in four areas: 1) Strengthen our outreach into the community. 2) Develop our international partnerships. 3) Develop a vibrant small group ministry. 4) Share general pastoral responsibilities with the rest on the pastoral team.
Our new pastor will help to move Trinity forward in our mission. We are very excited for the ways our impact in the community and the world will grow.
We believe that God has wonderful dreams and hopes for our work together.
- We look forward to expanding our ministry to those who experience food insecurity in
our community. - We plan to deepen our “Beds for Kids” ministry, to make sure that all children in our
area have a safe and comfortable place to sleep. - We hope to expand our work with those who are homeless in our community, especially families who do not have a place to call their own.
- We will deepen our understanding of what it is to be Christ’s church by developing new relationships with our international partners and strengthening the relationships we
already have.
2023 is going to be one of Trinity’s best years. We are grateful to God for the generosity of our people that makes this possible. Please join me in making a special, end-of-the-year gift that will put Trinity in a strong position as we begin our next year. You can make a gift by going to tlcowatonna.org/give. Or you can drop a check in mail, or in the offering plate and write “year-end gift” in the memo line.
I look forward to seeing you at our congregational meeting on December 11. Thank you for your faithfulness, your time, your energy, and your generosity, that makes our ministry possible!
God’s peace,

Pastor Todd Buegler
Senior Pastor
