Laura Jensen has accepted the children’s ministry position that opened after Sheri Berg retired last spring.
Laura grew up in Owatonna and graduated from Owatonna High School in 2002. Laura and her husband, Cory, have 2 amazing children, Corrina (age 15) and Porter (age 11), along with 2 dogs and a cat.
Laura loves to read, to binge TV shows and to spend as much time as possible with her family, especially on Minnesota’s north shore. She has been a volunteer in our “Trinity Kids” program, as well as with “Connect,” our confirmation ministry. Prior to her family coming to Trinity, Laura was a leader in the children’s ministry at her previous congregation. She loves to spend time with young people and the adults who work with them. Laura has owned her own small business and has worked in the cosmetology industry for over 20 years.
Laura has a high level of energy and will be a vital part of Trinity’s ministry team. She is creative and looks forward to developing deep and meaningful relationships in our children’s ministry. After she accepted the position, Laura said “I am so excited to be taking on this new role, and I can’t wait to get started!”
